Data deletion instructions

Last updated 7 August 2026

Life Performance Studio publishes content to social platforms on behalf of the business that authorized it. This page explains how to disconnect a platform and how to request deletion of the data we hold, including anything received from Facebook or Instagram.

1. Disconnect a channel yourself (fastest)

Any Owner or Administrator can remove a connection at any time, and it takes effect immediately:

  1. Sign in to Life Performance Studio.
  2. Go to Settings → Connections.
  3. Find the platform (for example Facebook Pages) and choose Disconnect.

Disconnecting revokes the authorization with the platform where the platform supports it, and permanently deletes the stored access and refresh tokens, the selected publishing destinations (Pages, profiles, channels or boards) and their stored capabilities. We never store your social account password.

2. Remove access from the platform side

You can also revoke Life Performance Studio directly with the platform:

  • Facebook / Instagram: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → select Life Performance Studio → Remove. You may also use Facebook's “Request data deletion” option, which sends the request to us automatically.
  • Google / YouTube: myaccount.google.com → Data & privacy → Third party apps & services.
  • LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services.
  • Pinterest: Settings → Security → Apps connected to your account.

When a platform tells us that authorization was revoked, the connection shows “Reconnect required” and the stored tokens are discarded.

3. Request deletion of all of your data

To have us delete everything we hold about you — your user account, profile, workspace memberships, connection records, publishing logs and audit entries relating to you — email privacy@lifeperformancestudio.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”.

  • We acknowledge requests within 5 business days.
  • We complete verified requests within 30 days.
  • We may need to verify your identity, and we may retain the minimum records required by law (for example billing and tax records) for the period the law requires.
  • Content already published to your own social accounts stays on those platforms; you control it there.
  • Backups are rotated on a 35-day cycle, so residual copies are removed within that window.

4. Automated deletion callback (Facebook and Instagram)

When you ask Facebook to delete the data an app holds, Facebook notifies us automatically at our data deletion request callback. We then immediately delete every stored authorization and publishing destination linked to that Facebook or Instagram account and return a confirmation code you can check below.

If a platform such as Facebook gave you a confirmation code, enter it here to see the status of that request.
